Trakka Ventures partners with early-stage companies where technical depth, commercial discipline, and the right operating environment matter. We work closely with a small number of founders, bringing capital and credible ecosystem relationships into companies building genuinely hard technology.
Through the Future House partnership with Outset Ventures, Trakka connects portfolio companies to the physical and community infrastructure that deep-tech needs: founder space, technical facilities, and proximity to other science and engineering ventures.
Our thesis
We back founders whose advantage is built on real engineering — AI systems, hardware, software infrastructure, and products where the underlying technology is the moat.
We invest in companies pairing technical ambition with a clear path to durable revenue, where engineering choices and commercial strategy are designed together.
We look for founding teams with the depth and judgment to take a product from prototype to market — and the patience to build a long-term company.
How we support
Trakka backs companies where the technical challenge is core to the business and the path from prototype to market benefits from specialist investor support.
Future House gives portfolio founders a practical base for building, testing, recruiting, and collaborating alongside other deep-tech companies.
Trakka invests with patience. We stay close to portfolio companies across multiple stages of company building rather than rotating in and out of positions.

Portfolio
Trakka has invested in companies across consumer products, procurement intelligence, immersive fitness, workplace learning, and brand measurement — each backed for the strength of the founding team and the durability of the underlying technology.
New Zealand ready-to-drink beverage company founded in 2018 and known for low-calorie, spirit-based RTDs connected to wildlife conservation. Brown-Forman announced an agreement to acquire the company in 2020.
Procurement intelligence platform that turns procurement activity across emails, meetings, contracts, invoices, and systems into structured, queryable context for defensible vendor and commercial decisions.
VR fitness platform offering immersive workouts across formats such as boxing, HIIT, combat, sculpt, and dance. FitXR positions itself as a fitness app for people who prefer workouts that feel like play.
Group-learning platform for businesses that helps large organisations deliver discussion-led learning at scale across in-person, remote, and hybrid teams without relying on traditional facilitator-heavy delivery.
New Zealand-founded brand tracking platform that gives marketers always-on brand health measurement, dashboards, category context, and evidence for marketing ROI. Blackbird describes Tracksuit as a Kiwi-founded startup delivering affordable, always-on brand tracking.
Future House partnership
Future House is the operating environment behind Trakka's deep-tech support model. The partnership with Outset Ventures gives portfolio founders a route into a purpose-built community for hard technology — from laboratories and workshops to event, office, and meeting spaces.
